Grab your snowboard and get ready for Outboard 2010, "Outboard XL"
as we return to Breckenridge, CO, March 30-April 4, 2010.
You will be staying with Outboard in the incredible Main Street
Station, right at the base of the lifts! This complex boasts luxury
accommodations, a pool, hot tubs, close proximity to shopping and
dining directly outside your door, and a few hundred of your Outboard
buddies.
Breckenridge resort boasts 4 mountains of snowboarding for all
abilities on Peaks 7, 8, 9 and 10. Breckenridge Ski & Ride school
will be offering lessons for all abilities and a learn to snowboard
package for the virgins in the group. If you're already an experienced
rider, the resort has groomers, bumps, and trees for everyone as well
as one of the best terrain parks at any resort. For those of you
looking to push your limits, be sure to check out the Imperial Express which
takes you to the top of Peak 8 from which you can access Imperial Bowl,
North Bowl, and a host of other double black chutes and runs.
Outboard begins March 30th with an opening cocktail party, followed
on Wednesday by the Ice Queen Party at the ice rink. On Thursday,
Outboard hosts a private dinner in the evening with Friday bringing the
“Boy Soup XL” pool party with 2 pools 2 hot tubs and water slides
at the recreation center. Finally on Saturday, the biggest event of the
week takes place with the Outboard Extravaganza and Closing Party.
This year’s Extravaganza and Closing Party feature OutBoard resident DJ
Foos and a special performance by the Demented Divas. On top of all of
this, attendees will experience group breakfast, lunch, and apres
events each day.
Recently named the "Most Laid Back" and "Most Affordable
Gay & Lesbian Ski Week" by TripOutGayTravel, attendees
can get all 5 breakfasts, 2 dinners, and 4 parties all for under
$300.00.
Outboard is also very happy to announce that they have partnered
with "The Center" as the non-profit beneficiary for this year's event
with a portion of proceeds for some events benefiting The Center (www.glbtcolorado.org).
The Center is the only statewide, nonprofit community center in
Colorado dedicated to providing support and advocacy for Colorado’s
gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) population.
